Date ([Optional Datetime])

This function returns the date component of the current bar, or from the passed in datetime. The returned number is in YYYYMMDD format.

Examples:

  Date; #returns the YYYYMMDD for the current bar
  Date(Ago(DataTime,15)); #returns YYYYMMDD for the bar 15 bars ago

Note:

Because this function has an optional parameter, it is sometimes necessary to specify the parenthesis on the function when passing no parameters, for example use Date() instead of Date.
