    A Simple system based upon the MACD. The MACD – Moving Average Convergence/Divergence is an indicator developed by Gerald Appel. The indicator is made up of three exponential moving averages. Trading signals are given when the two lines cross. The trading system example weekly & daily also uses the MACD but in histogram form.

    Rules:
    Buy when MACD crosses over its signal line
    Sell when MACD crosses below its signal line

    #Basic MACD System

    #Get the line and signal from the indicator
    my ($line,$signal)=MACD(12,26,9);

    BuyOpen  if Crossover  ($line,$signal);
    SellOpen if Crossunder ($line,$signal);
